Hi Everyone.

I noticed it has been a while since I last did a post! Not too much new right now, just very busy! Spring is slowly coming and has melted a lot of the snow and ice but we had some freezing rain last night and it made for a slippery morning. I slipped on the cement stairs (I managed to keep myself from falling but I'm sure I looked funny!) and then I had trouble braking because of ice on the brakes! It is all water now and seems to be staying warmer though we have a winter storm warning on us right now! Eventually it will be nice again, I hope! Today is Jim's 32and birthday. He got a lot of books that he wanted, some clothes, music, toys and a movie so lots for him to do! If we don't get the bad weather they are calling for then we'll go to Boston Pizza in Antigonish for supper and do some shopping while there. Nathanael is off from school right now for spring break but is back at it on monday, he's not looking forward to that! In May we are going on a trip for a few days, Jim has to go for district conference so we'll go with him as I have to take the time off work anyway to be with the boys. It will be nice to get away for a few days. Oh, Jim got something in the mail saying he can perform marriages in Nova Scotia. I think that is because our church is the only of its denomination in our town, they did the same thing when we lived in the Yukon. When he is ordained he'll be able to do marriages anywhere. Not that we know anyone getting married but nice to know! Anyway, on the weekend I'll look for some updated pics to post, Hope you are all well and enjoying the nicer weather (if you have any) Thanks for reading!

Nathanael's science fair project!
Here is Nathanael's first ever science fair project. It was fun to do with him and he is proud of it. He soaked tarnished pennies in 6 different kinds of liquid cleaners and we found out that dish soap worked the best! I think if you click on the pictures you can see them at full size. It was a bad weekend for us, the boys were quite sick. Nathanael has missed three days of school and he and Andrew are still really fighting a nasty cough. Anyway, just thought I'd show you Nathanael's most recent milestone. Hope you are all well! Thanks for reading!

What Cute Boys!
On Saturday I took the boys for a haircut. Don't they look handsome? This was Joseph's very first haircut, and he is three! Even Andrew has only had a handful of haircuts at 5yrs. old. Nathanael has had a ton and his hair is getting thicker and darker. I think Joseph's haircut makes him look more like three now instead of two! They grow up so fast! I don't know if I mentioned, Andrew did make it into french immersion so we are exited about that. Hard to believe that Nathanael only has 4 months of grade three left. Then in September there will only be one left at home in the day! Anyway, thought I'd pass these pics along. Thanks for reading!

We have a new addition to our home! It's a....... Piano! I'm so excited, I just bought it for pretty cheap. It is a bit beat up and some of the keys stick but it is great for me to practice on and try to get better. I need to look for a bench sometime too. Anyway, for $150, I can't complain. I've been playing on it all day! Just wanted to share the good news! Bye for now.

Snow Day!
On friday we got a snow storm with a lot of wind! It created some really neat snow dunes. We had to dig out the back door! Andrew and Nathanael (and Joseph for about 5 minutes) went out to play in it and had a ball! Here are some pictures of them enjoying all the snow. The weather cancelled two days of school (and Nathanael was sick for two, so he had a very short week!) and allowed me to go home early on Friday so all and all, it was quite fun! Enjoy the pics and thanks for reading!

Here are some busy boys at Christmas!
It has been a while since I blogged! We had a great Christmas and a nice dinner. A couple from our church came over for the supper and it went well, we had fun. It was so busy for us though that none of my cards made it out this year (sorry) and we didn't get the yearly picture of the boys done, we will though and send one to all of you! The new year has starting and it is getting busy! Jim started an evening study on sunday night. I started my craft night (that is so fun) and we start a young adults Bible study next week. I will soon be ordering the curriculum and then start the children's program so busy busy busy! We had a new baby boy born into our congregation on the 3rd. That was exciting, he is a cutie, unfortunately they are moving away :(
On tuesday I register Andrew for school. I will try to get him into french immersion, they only take 25 kids and thats it so I'll have to be a few hours early, I'm bringing a book! I'll let you know how that goes. I can't believe that Andrew will be starting school in September and that this time next year I'll be doing this again for Joseph! Where does the time go? Anyway, not much else new with us! I'll post more pictures. Thanks for reading! Posted by Picasa

Here is a picture of our little Christmas tree. I know, I still have our squash there we grew and that's a fall decoration but I didn't know what to do with them! Merry Christmas! Posted by Picasa

I know he is hard to see but if you click on the picture you can see it full size. This in Nathanael in his school play. He was one of four shepherds in the only speaking roles. He did a good job. I bought the DVD but just realized I forgot to pick it up! I guess I have to wait until after school holidays now! I hope everyone is doing well for Christmas. We are pretty much done the shopping and I am getting ready for the Christmas Eve service and Christmas day supper. Gerrard and Julia couldn't make it after all as they are moving right now so I am very disappointed and wish we had family closer by to share this occasion with but oh well! It will still be fun and not have lost any importance! I get four days off am back for three and then get three more so this will be a nice holiday for me too! Unlike BC, everything here in Nova Scotia is closed boxing day, our big shopping day is the 27th. Kind of nice to have a day to rest after all the chaos! I have to apologize for not getting my Christmas cards out in time! They are done and written on but with all that has been going on, I haven't sent them out yet! Sorry, they are coming and I have not forgotten about you all! We love and miss you all and hope you can come out and see us sometime! Anyway, I'll post more after Christmas with some pictures.

Hi Everyone. I wanted to post some pics from Nathanael and Andrew's birthday. These two pics of Andrew are the only ones we got, our camera is broken all of a sudden! It was a cheap digital camera anyway so I knew it wouldn't last! We are finally all done with the rental but still have a fair amount of boxes to unpack at our new place. I plan to get a lot done this weekend so we can start putting Christmas things up! We got a new couch last weekend, as you see by the pic it is pretty nice, the picture doesn't do it justice though. It is more of a sage green. I need to get started on Christmas cards! With all the commotion, I am running late on things and also I didn't get the boys pictures done this year! Sorry about that, but I will get it done and send everyone one, just not for Christmas like I usually do. It has been such a busy time for us right now. Christmas holidays from school are on their way and Nathanael is pretty excited about that! I hope you are all well, we are finally over our sicknesses. I'll post some pics of our new place once we are all moved in! Thanks for reading,
Harmony
