Here it is, Monday Again! May sure flew by fast. The boys are pretty excited that they are in their last month of school before summer holidays. I wish I had the summer off with them! I didn't follow last weeks menu plan all that well, but I'm willing to try again! There will be a few repeats from last week, since we didn't get to them. So here it is, my menu for this week (the red items are links to the recipes):
Monday - Cheezy Italian Bake
Tuesday - Lemon Dill Haddock with egg noodles (same as in last week, better name!)
Wednesday - Slow Cooker Bean Casserole, Biscuits and salad
Thursday - Cod Fish Cakes, Green Bean Salad and rolls
Friday - Homemade Pizza
Saturday - Slow Cooker Meatloaf with potatoes and corn
Lots of new recipes for me (including the ones I didn't try from last week), Hopefully I am able to try them all. They all sound so good. A good friend of mine makes a salad like the green bean salad and I am hoping it tastes like hers, very yummy! Okay, now it is time for lunch and all this menu planning is making me hungry, Thanks for reading!

Mmmmm. Sounds like a yummy week. I am so going to try the cheezy italian casserole. I struggle a lot to find dishes I like with ground beef...but it's SO cheap! I'm also going to try the bean casserole...that sounds REALLY yummy! Let me know if you think it needs to be done in a slow-cooker or if it could just be slow-cooked on the stove top (I'm too lazy to pull out my crock pot!)
I was totally going to do Meal Plan Monday today...but since I'm just feeding KK brunch now (almost 3pm), I'll wait until next week. ( I do have my meals planned out until next Tuesday though...so I'm not really slacking!) Why am I feeding my child this late? Next time I get a chance to post on my blog, I'll let you know!
Hi Peanut! Sorry, I realized when I commented on your blog, I used your name, I'll have to watch that! I did make the cheezy Italian Casserole, it was really good! The kids liked it and the best thing was that most of the veggies were shredded (I have an electric shredder) so the kids didn't notice them! I highly recommend it! I'm sure the slow cooked beans could be cooked on the stove top, I'll use the slow cooker so I can put them on in the morning and they'll be done when I get home from work at 5. Thanks for the comment!
Some different tasty meals planned for the week.
